The Beautiful Plains Community Foundation is proud to support projects and initiatives that enhance the quality of life throughout our communities. Through the generosity of our donors and the income generated from our endowment funds, we provide grants to organizations making a positive impact in our region.
Whether your organization is launching a new initiative, expanding an existing program, or purchasing equipment that benefits the community, we encourage you to explore our grant opportunities.
Who Can Apply?
Grant applications are welcome from:
- Registered Charities
- Qualified and Non-Qualified Donees
- Municipalities
- Schools
- Community Organizations
Projects should demonstrate a clear community benefit and align with the Foundation’s mission of strengthening our communities for generations to come.
What We Fund
We consider applications for projects in a variety of areas, including:
- Arts & Culture
- Community Development
- Education
- Environment
- Health & Wellness
- Recreation
- Youth & Seniors
- Heritage & History
Funding is typically provided to projects, programs, equipment, or capital improvements that create lasting community impact.
Grant Intake
Our Community Grants Program accepts applications annually.
Application Deadline: March 31st of each year
Successful applications will be notified following the Foundation’s grant review process and invited to attend our annual Grant Presentation.

Please ensure you:
- Review the Grant Guidelines
- Confirm your organization is eligible
- Complete ALL sections of the application
- Include any required supporting documentation – including budgets
- Submit your application before the deadline.
- Previous grant reports are submitted
